Kobi Shefi

Composer, arranger, music producer, guitar player, and educator. Born in 1960 in Israel, he is a recipient of the ACUM Prize for encouraging creativity for composers in popular music in 2013. He holds a master's degree from the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance and is a graduate of the first class of the Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music.

Kobi studied guitar with guitarist and musician Gil Dor. After completing his studies (3 years) at the Rimon School of Jazz and Contemporary Music, Kobi initiated and played in various ensembles such as Nofet, Parpar, Shishia Bediboor, Nishmot Hatapooz, and Trialog. Kobi participated in all the major jazz festivals in Israel, including the Red Sea Jazz Festival, the Israel Festival, the Haifa Festival, and the Cinematheque Festival. He also performed in the prestigious Tel Aviv Museum of Jazz series, where the renowned pianist Paul Bley was a guest. Kobi has recorded three albums both as a performer and as a composer, in collaboration with clarinetist and musician Harold Rubin and saxophonist and musician Leshick Zadlo. He has composed and written music for documentary films (The Battle Against Cancer) and animated films, composed for theater, and performed at festivals around the world, including the Suitcase Festival in Bulgaria, Sofia. Kobi founded "The Common Bond" in 1998 and is also the dominant composer and arranger of the group. He has performed with The Common Bond at major festivals and shows in Canada, Serbia, South Africa, Croatia, Cyprus, Lithuania, Finland, Poland, the Czech Republic, and Estonia. He also recorded and produced the three albums of The Common Bond together with Roni Tzadik and Ilan Postovsky.

During the COVID period from 2020 to 2022, Kobi established the ensemble "Kobi Shefi Free Will Project." As part of the project, Kobi recorded two albums and filmed videos. Kobi is an educator who has been coordinating the music program at the Ginsburg-Haoren six-year school in Yavne since 2000.

Sharon Laloum

Singer, Songwriter, and Actress

Common Bond: Lead singer of the band.

songwriter with a unique voice and musical versatility, possessing extensive experience performing on international stages, participating in successful television shows, and various musical projects. Sharon, who resides in Paris, combines influences from her diverse origins in her career, creating a fascinating connection between cultures

Education -n The Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance: Higher education in music.

Solo Album: Released an album featuring songs in French, Hebrew, and English, showcasing her cross-cultural abilities.

Disney Animation Voice & Singing: Voiced and performed the songs for the character "Pepa" in the French version of Disney's successful animated film, "Encanto."

Performances and Singles: Performs throughout France and Europe and independently releases original singles.

Reached the quarter-finals as a member of singer and mentor Mika's team.

Delivered a memorable blind audition with the song "Comme un boomerang" by Serge Gainsbourg, which made three out of the four mentors turn their chairs.

Gained wide exposure and critical acclaim for her performances throughout the season.

Was a member of the French cast of the successful international vocal group.

Toured worldwide with the group, performing at venues such as the "Habima" National Theatre in Israel and prestigious halls in France and Quebec.

Roni Zadik -

Drummer, music producer, and drum teacher. Born in 1961 in Israel, he began his drumming studies with Aharle Kaminski. Roni served as a drummer in the Air Force Orchestra. After his military service, he moved to the United States, where he received a music scholarship at Berklee College of Music in Boston. During his five years in the U.S., he performed in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, New Orleans, and Miami with various artists such as Mendes Brothers, Abraham Laboriel, Brendon Fields, Seiku Banch, Lilo Fadida, Kit Johns, and more.

In 1992, he returned to Israel and collaborated with Shalom Hanoch, Riki Gal, Nurit Galron, Miki Gavrielov, Matti Caspi, and Yehoram Gaon. He recorded as a drummer and percussionist on dozens of albums and discs with top Israeli artists. Roni played for about two years with the singer Ofra Haza during her world tour. He participated in performances and festivals around the world, including the Monterey Jazz Festival, the Trans Reine Festival in France, the Red Sea Jazz Festival in Eilat, the Israel Festival, and many others.

Omer Rizi 
Keyboards.

Born in in 1982, a classical piano student of Mrs. Fania Eisenberg. Bachelor's degree in multidisciplinary Performance as a jazz pianist, and at the end of his graduate studies in composition.

Student of Slava Ganelin and Nachum Perferkovic in jazz piano, and classical piano Zcharia Plavin.

Omer Founded and plays in several groups: Fullbite (an urban jazz trio) – Original composition | Jazz and Roll- jazz interpretations to rock and pop songs - Original arrangements by Omer | The P Project.

Pianist / Keyboardist of: Sarah Benasouli , Maya Pennington , Barak Hanoch , The Doo-Wop Girls, Assaf Levy, Chen Zimbalista, Roy Young, Arik Livnat, Ella Tadmor .

Participated in known jazz festivals such as Jazz Globus and appears in several productions abroad .

Omer is also a musical director and a jazz piano teacher in various musical institutions.


Chen Meir
Percussionist.

Born in 1980. He studied in Africa with Sabola Bangura, Sammy Keita and in Cuba with Freddy Martinez and Barbo Valdez. Played and collaborated with Yehoram Gaon, Miri Mesika, Shlomi Shabat, Shalom Chanich. collaborated with groups abroad Kabko, Volkata, Herman Olivera, Manu Gallo, Willy Torres, Panky Vazquez, Maria de Broz and more. Chen teaches percussion and drums.

 

Tzur Ben-Ze'ev   

Music producer, composer, arranger, double bass and bass guitar player. Music teacher for 25 years. Born in 1961 in Israel. *Graduate of the Manhattan School of Music; plays classical, jazz, pop, and world music, both in Israel and abroad. He has performed at festivals such as "Montreux" in Switzerland, "Womad" by Peter Gabriel in Hamburg, Germany, "Bumbershoot" in Seattle, Washington, the "Japan Music Festival," the "Istanbul Music Festival" in Turkey, in Beijing, China, South Korea, and more...
