Composer, arranger, producer, guitarist and educator Kobi Shefi. Winner of 2013 "Acum" award for original music. Studied guitar with Gil Dor. Played in ensembles like Nofet, Butterfly, Trialog. Performed at major festivals. Recorded albums as player/composer with collaborators like Harold Robin. Composed for films, theater. Founded and leads Common Bond ensemble since 1998, their dominant composer/arranger. Performed globally with Common Bond. Masters degree from Jerusalem Music Academy. Created "Kobi Shefi Free Will Project" trio playing improvised jazz/rock/ethnic/classical music during COVID-19.

Born in 2000.

2012-2018 played in ensembles like The UniqueHorns, Aaron Hankin's Big Band. 2018-2020 studied Jazz at the Conservatory of Music/The New School NYC program. Played in ensembles led by Gilad Avro, Daniel Zamir, others. Volunteered with Image Ensemble for special needs. Performed with Daniel Zamir, Anat Cohen, Ehud Aton. 2020-2021 drum teacher at Ton-Line. 2021 released debut album "Eye Wide Open". Currently plays/records with groups like Kobi Shefi Free Will Project, Hip Swing Nonet.
